Job summary

AccelOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus in Python, complemented by experience with React and AWS. This backend-heavy role designs scalable services, APIs, and cloud-native applications while contributing to frontend development when needed.

You’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to build and evolve a modern AI-powered SaaS platform used by customers across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in production environments.
• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience developing modern web applications with React.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Professional English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate on frontend development using React when needed.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other engineers through SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Research, evaluate, and implement modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and platform quality.
