Job summary

CEC Entertainment, headquartered in Irving, TX, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business-critical software for a distributed team. You will build C# applications for NCR Voyix Aloha POS terminals and design REST APIs to power our backend in Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar degree.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years in C# and the .NET ecosystem spanning both .NET Framework (WinForms/desktop, COM interop).
• RESTful APIs design and implementation (contracts, OAuth 2.0/JWT, versioning, resilience, OpenAPI).
• 3+ years building and operating solutions on Microsoft Azure: App Service/Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL, Service Bus/Event Grid, Application Insights, and CI/CD (DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Solid front-end skills with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Working with SQL Server/Azure SQL data modelling and performance; PCI DSS awareness.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with Jira/Confluence and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web front ends for internal tools and portals supporting POS and loyalty platforms.
• Design, develop and operate C# Web APIs and Azure services; manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Develop C# applications running on Aloha POS terminals (.NET Framework/WinForms).
• Build and maintain integrations with NCR Voyix, FreedomPay and other partners and internal systems.
• Establish and enforce secure, scalable software practices: tests, logging, secret management, safe rollout/rollback.
• Provide tier-3 production support for POS and API incidents; participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical options and risks clearly.
