Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in its Technology organization. Based in Pittsburgh, PA or Farmers Branch, TX, you will own design and development of the Digital Insights platform, building scalable microservices and APIs for personalized banking experiences across web and mobile.

As a full-time employee, you will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate in Agile ceremonies to deliver reliable, high-volume systems.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering scalable backend services.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and APIs.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and long-term ownership of the Digital Insights platform.
• Own design decisions, mentor the team, and support platform evolution.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs for digital insights.
• Work on real-time and batch processing flows and integrate with data pipelines.
