Job summary

Office Ally seeks an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to build ProPay2.0, a next-generation payment platform. You will design, develop, and support scalable, secure payment solutions processing ACH, virtual cards, checks, and other digital payments while contributing to architecture and evolution of the platform.

The role offers hybrid work in Concord, with eligibility for remote candidates in Pacific/Mountain time zones based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with React and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
• Experience in payment processing, fintech, banking, healthcare payments, or financial services platforms.
• Experience with ACH, EFT, virtual cards, checks, or digital payment processing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for enterprise payment processing.
• Build scalable front-end applications using React and modern UI frameworks.
• Develop secure, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and debugging.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and SQL queries.
• Integrate with external payment providers, banking partners, and third-party APIs.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices across the team.
• Identify opportunities to improve system design, performance, and developer productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams throughout the lifecycle.
