Job summary

Qualis1 Inc. is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and Vue.js in a fast-paced environment. You will build RESTful APIs, integrate backend services, and develop responsive frontend components while working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.

Strong testing with Playwright/JUnit and collaboration across teams are required. You will troubleshoot performance issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to deployment

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Vue.js.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with automated testing (Playwright, JUnit).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues and debug effectively.
• Experience with code reviews and development best practices.
• Willingness to contribute to documentation, planning, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and Vue.js.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services to support functionality and integration.
• Develop responsive frontend components and interfaces with Vue.js.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using Playwright and JUnit.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with teams, analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.
