GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to design and develop robust full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies. You will architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, develop RESTful APIs and microservices with Node.js and Java, and mentor junior engineers.

Strong frontend skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React/Angular/Vue are essential, as is experience with microservices, cloud deployment, and distributed

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of Full Stack development experience.
• Strong backend with Node.js, Spring Boot/Java.
• Strong frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, VueJS or modern SPA frameworks.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, REST API design, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Distributed system design principles.
• Led at least one project technically.
• Hands-on Cloud Development with AWS/Azure.
• Containerization and cloud deployment models.

• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure stability.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Drive improvements in development processes, tools, and architecture.
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with data protection standards.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system capabilities.

Job Description

GlobalLogic estimates the starting base salary for the Senior Fullstack Engineer role in Santa Clara, CA to be between $135000 to $145000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of Full Stack development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Spring Boot / Java
• Strong frontend development experience using JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Angular, VueJS or modern SPA frameworks
• Minimum experience weightage required : 40% for frontend and 60% for backend.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, REST API design, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Distributed system design principles
• Must have led at least one project technically
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Application Development : AWS / Azure
• Containerization and cloud deployment model

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and UX/UI designers, to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for development processes, tools, and system architecture.
• Ensure the implementation of secure coding practices and compliance with industry standards for data protection.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks to enhance the overall system capabilities and developer efficiency.
