Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to develop and scale software systems powering the next generation of digital manufacturing. You will own large-scale initiatives from concept through deployment, influence technical strategy, and mentor other engineers, collaborating across disciplines to deliver reliable platforms.

You’ll design, build, and maintain production-grade apps with TypeScript, Node.js, and React, while developing scalable data models and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent practical experience considered.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant full-stack development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Extensive experience developing modern web applications using React or comparable front-end frameworks.
• Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL database design, data modeling, and system architecture.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-ready software systems.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives spanning multiple projects or teams.
• Strong software design, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies.
• Develop robust APIs, services, and user experiences that support critical business functions.
• Deliver complex features and systems from requirements gathering through deployment and operational support.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design reviews.
