Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building production-grade web applications using modern React architecture and component-based design patterns.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend development experience building REST APIs and service-oriented applications.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Understanding of modern frontend architecture including state management, routing, accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Experience with API contracts, schema validation, and strongly typed development practices.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application development.
• Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and product teams.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer builds and evolves the NBA platform's Action Library and Command Center experience, the operational system used by business and program teams to create, configure, govern, and publish member actions across the enterprise. Built on React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Kafka-based integration patterns, the platform serves as the primary control plane for authoring and managing actions throughout the member journey. This is a hands‑on engineering role with a strong front‑end focus: you design and build modern user experiences, develop the APIs and services that support them, and partner closely with product, design, and platform teams to deliver scalable, production‑ready solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience with strong React and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience building production‑grade web applications using modern React architecture and component‑based design patterns.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend development experience building REST APIs and service‑oriented applications.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Understanding of modern front‑end architecture including state management, routing, accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Experience with API contracts, schema validation, and strongly typed development practices.
• Familiarity with containerized application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native application development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React 19, TanStack Router, Query, Form, and Table.
• Experience with Fastify, Prisma, Drizzle ORM, Redis, and PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications, code generation, and contract‑first API development.
• Experience with Kafka and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience building workflow‑driven applications, operational consoles, or enterprise business tooling.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, and modern deployment pipelines.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and observability platforms.
