Our focus is on helping users, growing as engineers, and fostering a fun, collaborative environment.

Role Overview

Are you interested in building tools that help our largest clients effectively manage their presence on Yelp? Our teams focus on specialized user interfaces, internal tools, and advanced reporting for multi-location businesses. You’ll design and implement solutions that enable these high-profile customers to manage campaigns, generate reports, and empower internal teams at scale. We are also constantly exploring new features and ways to assist our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Iterate quickly using CI/CD principles to deliver new features at scale.
  • Articulate and execute a clear technical vision for large-business solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to design and implement reliable, scalable systems.
  • Develop front-end and back-end features to help large clients manage their campaigns and presence.
  • Implement modern, responsive UIs.
  • Deploy and monitor services within a service-oriented architecture to ensure efficiency and stability.
  • Analyze data to identify issues and address customer needs, iterating on features as needed.
  • Work closely with product, design, and stakeholder teams to meet business and client expectations.
  • Mentor engineers and share knowledge to grow the team’s full-stack expertise.
What It Takes to Succeed
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders on high-impact projects.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying reliable full-stack products.
  • Strong understanding of databases and Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • Experience with server-side programming, preferably Python.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with web frameworks (Django, Flask) or modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Interest in scalability, reliability, and performance challenges.
  • Knowledge of web security and performance best practices.
  • Comfort working in a Unix environment.
What You'll Get
  • Ownership of projects from day one, a collaborative team, and a dynamic environment.
  • Competitive salary, pension scheme, and optional stock purchase plan.
  • 25 days paid holiday (rising to 29), plus a floating holiday.
  • £150 monthly reimbursement for remote work expenses.
  • £81 caregiver reimbursement for dependent care.
  • Private health insurance, including dental and vision.
  • Flexible hours and meeting-free Wednesdays.
