Job summary

Encore in Illinois is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Applications Development Team. You will contribute across the product lifecycle from defining solutions to delivering and supporting them at scale in an Agile environment.

This role requires deep hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript, C#, .NET Core, Azure, microservices, and RESTful APIs, plus mentoring juniors and leading project delivery to meet objectives. Office-based role with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise applications.
6+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and TypeScript.
6+ years of RESTful API and backend development with .NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, ASP.NET Web API, Azure Functions.
Strong experience in designing and building scalable microservices.
Experience integrating enterprise apps with CRM/ERP and Oracle databases.
Strong SQL Server / Azure SQL skills and performance tuning.
Experience with EF Core and modern data access patterns.
Experience building cloud-native apps in Azure and using CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA, architects, DBAs, and other developers to design, develop, and test applications.
Adhere to defined software development methodologies to meet milestones and standards.
Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
Develop solutions and create system design and programming specification documents.
Work with DBAs to develop database structures for applications.
Mentor junior developers and lead agile processes.
Maintain production applications and improve observability and deployment practices.
