Capital One's Risk Tech division is seeking a Senior Manager, IC Full-stack Engineer to lead a portfolio of distributed, cloud-native systems and mentor engineers while delivering AI-powered risk-management solutions. You will collaborate with product managers to deploy scalable solutions across AWS and other cloud platforms, emphasizing reliability and performance.

You will drive architecture discussions, guide multi-team initiatives, and apply modern open source tools and AI-enabled workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related quantitative field.
6+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of public cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
Mentor other engineers and participate in internal and external technology communities.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of users.
Define platform roadmaps and shared services strategy across teams.
