Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript/AWS) to design, develop, and deploy modern full stack applications that deliver exceptional user experiences and business value.

You will work with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, driving CI/CD automation, code quality, security, and performance improvements while ensuring scalable, reliable solutions across cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing full stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern software development principles and architecture.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with Git/GitHub and modern version control practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
