Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern full stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS. You will work with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

In this remote role based in the United States, you will drive CI/CD automation, code quality, security best practices, and performance improvements while collaborating in an agile environment across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing full stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern software development principles and architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with Git/GitHub and modern version control practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
