Job summary

PMG Global, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to work at our client site in Durham, NC. The role is a 50/50 split between front-end and back-end work, prioritizing Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices in an enterprise setting.

Candidates should bring 8+ years of enterprise Full Stack experience, with strong Kafka, Oracle SQL, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, and Selenium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise Full Stack applications.
• Experience building enterprise Full Stack applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• This is a 50/50 Full Stack Engineer role, although candidates with a stronger Front-End background will be considered.
• Experience building and supporting Kafka-based messaging applications.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, query tuning, and database development.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Veracode.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, Jest, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter, and TestNG.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with Datadog monitoring and observability.
• 50/50 split is preferred but open to 70/30 heavy front end
