Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and modern UIs with React and TypeScript.

Role – Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java / Spring Boot (Backend) + React / TypeScript (Frontend))

Location – Mountain View, CA – Locals Only

Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend services
• Implement data access using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Integrate internal/external systems via APIs and event‑driven architectures
• Build modern UIs using React + TypeScript
• Develop reusable components using hooks and functional components
• Implement state management using Redux, Zustand, or Context API
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs
• Ensure performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
• Design scalable, modular systems
• Apply best practices for performance, reliability, security, cloud & DevOps
• Deploy applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• Mentor junior engineers
• Drive improvements in architecture, performance, and developer productivity

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB)
• Experience building cloud‑native applications
• Strong understanding of system design and design patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event‑driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library
• Observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
