Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Lead Software Engineer/Full stack Developer for the IPG Technology team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will architect and implement features across Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot REST services to support Foundation IP for customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on Java and full-stack experience, strong SQL Server skills, and proficiency with Angular. The role combines development with collaboration in a hybrid work model and on-site presence in Ann Arbor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including Java development.
• 5+ years of Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring REST, JPA, Hibernate experience.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• 5+ years of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack product development across Angular 17 front-end and Java/Spring Boot REST services.
• Develop and support Foundation IP customer-facing product.
• Handle a mix of new development, client-reported bugs, and maintenance.
• Apply best practices, unit testing, OO design, code reviews, and OWASP Top 10 awareness.
• Collaborate in small scrum teams with QA, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and peers.
