Job summary

Capital One National Association is recruiting a Full-stack Engineer 4 to advance the Travel Platform with Java/Scala and AWS expertise. You’ll lead distributed microservices and full-stack solutions across Capital One Travel, helping millions of users achieve financial empowerment while mentoring engineers and driving architectural standards.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, apply modern cloud-native patterns, and push for operational excellence using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Master’s degree preferred and 7+ years of experience with multiple languages.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams for distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Mentor other engineers and participate in tech communities.
Deliver cloud-based solutions that enable scalable and robust user experiences for Capital One Travel products.
Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
