Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking Senior Full Stack Engineers to support distributed microservices, full-stack applications, and cloud-based solutions in a financial services environment. You will collaborate on projects using Java/Spring Boot, React/TypeScript, Python, AWS, ETL pipelines, and SQL.

You will build backend services, responsive frontends, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Professional experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience with Python, particularly for ETL, data pipelines, or scripting.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to technology projects involving distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and REST APIs.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and support ETL processes, data pipelines, and automation using Python.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Work with relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
