Job summary

Limestone Digital in the United States is seeking a senior software engineer to design and deliver scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and modern React/TypeScript front-ends. You will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, data models, and database access, while collaborating closely with product teams and client stakeholders to align delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development.
• 4+ years with Java & Spring Boot microservices.
• 2+ years with React & TypeScript.
• 2+ years AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and React-based internal tools with a primary focus on platform health and stability.
• Autoscaling & performance: move from manual scaling to automated patterns (Karpenter, KEDA, HPA) and tune service performance.
• Observability & incident preparedness: refine SLOs and improve alert quality; participate in disaster recovery exercises.
• Quality & operational automation: integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD (static analysis, tests).
• Technical collaboration: participate in incident postmortems, code reviews, and project alignment within the client team.
• Process & AI efficiency: use AI-assisted engineering to streamline delivery workflows.
