Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python for production-grade applications.
• Strong SQL proficiency for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience deploying solutions on AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Glue).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating outputs for correctness.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code using Java and Python in a finance environment.
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS with S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and Glue.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools and validate outputs through reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from large financial data sets using SQL.
• Participate in code reviews to elevate code quality and engineering standards.
• Adhere to SDLC processes, CI/CD practices, and security expectations.
