Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Internal Systems to design and build mission critical software used across the company. You will own major portions of the software lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 5+ years of professional experience in software development; OR 7+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development
• Active experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
• Strong knowledge of software design, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with in-stream data processing and message brokers is valued

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users’ problems to craft efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews
