Job summary

StubHub, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) in Aliso Viejo, CA to develop, optimize, and maintain backend and frontend components across multiple languages and frameworks.

You will tackle concurrency, data consistency, and latency challenges while refining core platforms for stability and scalability. Responsibilities include building highly available services, monitoring and incident response, and collaborating with peers to raise software quality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience in full-stack UX.
• In lieu of a Master’s, a Bachelor’s plus 5 years in software development with full-stack UX.
• 3 years of experience applying user-centered design to deliver core functionalities.
• 3 years of experience developing, maintaining, and improving web apps with .NET and C#.
• 3 years of experience using Typescript and React for UI development.
• 3 years of experience owning web apps for web-based POS in ticket reselling.
• 3 years of experience writing SQL Server queries and optimizing performance.
• 3 years of experience building scalable APIs and microservices for global apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend and frontend components across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Solve advanced technical challenges in concurrency and distributed data consistency.
• Refactor core platforms with system-level optimizations and automation.
• Design features and services to improve responsiveness, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, and incident response for high availability.
• Review architectures with peers and uphold high standards for testing and deployment.
• Build and enhance large-scale distributed systems supporting millions of users.
