Job summary

Outcomes® is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive full-stack development on healthcare-focused software. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with agile teams, and lead initiatives that raise safety and reduce costs.

The role requires strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot and React, with cloud and microservices experience, plus a drive to improve code quality and operational reliability. On-site in Orlando, travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• One or more server-side programming languages (Java with Spring Boot experience preferred).
• One or more client-side programming languages (JavaScript/React).
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting REST services and microservices.
• Experience using cloud services (AWS); familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality features for complex software solutions with attention to reliability and performance.
• Create testing strategies including unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests; practice TDD where appropriate.
• Design data models, data storage, and data transmission strategies; leverage cloud services and IaC practices.
• Contribute to build pipelines, monitoring, logging, and metrics collection to improve operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture.
