Datavant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to grow our healthcare data ecosystem, delivering scalable frontend and backend solutions that handle millions of health records. You’ll contribute across the stack with a focus on product impact and technical excellence.

You’ll mentor teammates, influence architecture, and own major projects from design through deployment, driving growth and learning within a high-collaboration environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, building, and operating production software systems.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience with modern frontend and backend services.
• Experience building customer-facing applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience designing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native apps.
• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and drive engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications powering Datavant's healthcare data ecosystem.
• Deliver exceptional user experiences by partnering with product, designers, and engineers.
• Develop scalable frontend, backend, APIs, and data-driven solutions for millions of records.
• Guide architectural decisions and establish patterns for long-term scalability.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership and learning.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to deployment and operations.
