Job summary

Acorns is building a new Community product team to drive organic growth through engagement loops, social sharing, and referral mechanics. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll own features end-to-end across iOS, Android, Web, and backend services, collaborating closely with the CEO, a Senior PM, and a Senior Designer.

You’ll ship end-to-end from data model to customer experience, instrument events, and use data to iterate rapidly.

Qualifications

• Experience building social or engagement systems at scale.
• Own a feature end-to-end across the full stack.
• Shipped production features across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Instrument analytics events and drive meaningful iteration.
• Thrives in fast-moving, low-structure environments.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Proficient in Swift, Kotlin, React Native, TypeScript or Python.
• Side projects or open source contributions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build mechanics for product growth including referrals and sharing flows.
• Own features end-to-end from data model to customer experience.
• Deliver features across iOS, Android, Web, and backend services.
• Instrument events, build visibility, and leverage data to iterate.
• Maintain strong engineering standards and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate directly with CEO, Senior PM, and Senior Designer.
