Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our remote engineering team. You will work on cutting edge assessment platforms with Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, VueJS, Python, Postgres and MongoDB, building scalable SaaS applications in a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze, design, implement, test, and deploy high-quality software in collaboration with QA, configuration management, and end users, while adhering to industry best practices and Pearson standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline
• Experience developing SaaS applications
• Experience with Go, Javascript/Typescript, VueJS, Python, Postgres, MongoDB
• Experience with AWS hosted applications
• Experience in agile environments
• Experience with development, maintenance, and testing of software

Responsibilities

• Analyze & Design: create design models from requirements
• Implement & Perform: follow Pearson coding standards
• Review: participate in requirements, design and code reviews
• Test & Deployment: coordinate with QA and end users to release high quality software
• Quality/process improvement: contribute to process improvement initiatives
