Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is hiring in Pittsburgh for an engineering role that spans frontend, backend, cloud, and robot-adjacent interfaces. You will partner with product, culinary, operations, robotics, firmware and mechanical teams to turn ambiguous operational problems into reliable software.

As we scale, you’ll help with release, deployment, configuration, learning management, and refining the robot interface. The team will own and improve the online kitchen software stack, with strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience building backend and frontend for distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment and release processes.
• Strong collaboration across product, culinary, operations and robotics teams.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend and backend software for configuring, observing, and managing kitchen operations
• Collaborate with culinary and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Integrate with delivery service providers to receive orders, provide status updates, and synchronize menus
• Create and integrate with the on-robot control panel interfaces
• Work alongside firmware, mechanical, electrical, and robotics engineers to ensure cohesive system functionality
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions
