Job summary

Lab37 Robotics, a Pittsburgh-based tech company, seeks a versatile software engineer to own full-stack development for restaurant robotics operations. You will build backend services in Go or C++, craft frontend apps in Vue3 or Svelte with TypeScript, and integrate with cloud infrastructure and robotic interfaces.

Collaboration with product, culinary, and robotics teams is essential. You will work onsite at our Pittsburgh office five days a week, contributing to release and deployment,

Qualifications

• Proficiency in backend development using Go or C++, with REST-based services.
• Proficiency in frontend web applications using Vue3 or Svelte and TypeScript.
• Experience with documentation tools and writing design documents/playbooks.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of frontend and backend software for configuring, observing, and managing kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with culinary and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate with delivery service providers to receive orders, provide status updates, and synchronize menus.
• Create and integrate with the on-robot control panel interfaces.
• Work alongside firmware, mechanical, electrical, and robotics engineers to ensure cohesive system functionality.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions.
