Ascertain is building AI agents to automate the administrative work that burdens care teams, focused on delivering financial resilience and operational clarity to health systems. We’re headquartered in New York City with a hybrid team there, plus remote engineers across the U.S.

and Brazil. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Ascertain, you’ll ship product across the stack—from backend services and data infrastructure powering our healthcare AI platform to the web app used by our partner

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, and modern web stacks.
• Ability to design scalable systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design to production.
• Build user-facing UI with React and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services in Python using FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Improve code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Contribute to testing, observability, and deployment pipelines.
