Job summary

Colorado Rockies Baseball Club seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to join Baseball Systems. You will design and build internal web applications supporting scouting, player development, acquisition, and research, owning features end-to-end from data access to user interfaces.

You’ll help shape architecture, improve reliability, and mentor other engineers. You will collaborate with analysts, scouts, and Baseball Operations leaders to translate business needs into software solutions and to

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development experience.
• Experience building production web applications across the full stack.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing backend services and APIs.
• Advanced SQL and ORM usage with relational databases.
• Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with automated testing across the stack.
• Demonstrated technical leadership through architecture, reviews, and mentorship.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with baseball data or Baseball Operations workflows (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web applications for Baseball Operations.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and data access powering the app.
• Create intuitive experiences for technical and non-technical users.
• Integrate diverse data sources for analytics and visualization.
• Architect scalable, maintainable applications and guide platform evolution.
• Write resilient, well-tested code and maintain existing systems.
• Promote engineering best practices and code quality.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, guidance, and project support.
