Job summary

Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in the Denver area to design and build internal applications for Baseball Operations. You will own features end-to-end, from data access to user interfaces, collaborating with scouts, analysts, and leaders to modernize how information informs talent decisions.

You will lead architecture decisions, promote best practices, and mentor peers while delivering resilient, well-tested code in a modern, cloud-based stack.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development experience or equivalent.
• Experience building full-stack production web applications with backend services and UIs.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React/Svelte/Vue).
• Designs scalable architecture and evaluates technical tradeoffs.
• Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web applications for Baseball Operations end-to-end.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and data access powering user interfaces.
• Create reliable, intuitive experiences for technical and non-technical users.
• Integrate diverse data sources for analytics, scouting, and research.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and promote engineering standards.
