Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking integrations.
• Understanding of security best practices, PCI-DSS compliance, and secure software development.
• Proficiency in front-end development with React, TypeScript, Redux, or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML payloads.
• Strong database knowledge with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (JUnit, Cypress, Jest), and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills, a growth mindset, and a continuous improvement ethos.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance, and scalable applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop front-end interfaces with a focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to containerize applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploy on cloud providers.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
• Optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, particularly in fintech, payments, and banking domains.
• Support data teams to enhance data ingestion, transformation, and analytics capabilities.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to address customer issues and suggest product improvements.
• Assist in developing and refining development processes and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, advocating for tools and practices that enhance development efficiency.
