Job summary

TalentDome Staffing is assisting a well-capitalized fintech/proptech startup seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for remote US-based work. You will own complex financial features from design through production, working autonomously in a high-trust engineering culture.

Contribute to secure data pipelines, REST/JSON APIs, and backend services for payments and lending, while guiding frontend redesigns and backend optimization. US citizenship or green card and US-based residency are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience in FinTech, PropTech, payments, or lending platforms.
• Remote work within the United States; US work authorization required.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-capitalized, venture-backed FinTech and PropTech startup operating in real estate payments, lending, and transaction distribution. Backed by premier tier-one investors and holding over $11M in cash reserves with low burn, they are expanding their core engineering group to target 20% of all real estate transactions nationwide. This is a high-autonomy, foundational opportunity for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own complex financial product features from system design to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with engineering leadership to take projects from initial system design through production deployment without hand-holding.
• Build secure financial data pipelines, REST/JSON APIs, and backend endpoints for lending, payments, and compliance integrations.
• Collaborate closely in paired engineering workflows to ship high-reliability code while upholding strict security practices.
• Execute front-end redesigns and UI enhancements while optimizing underlying backend services and databases.

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience: 3-4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with proven ownership of end-to-end production systems.
• Key Systems/Protocols: Prior experience in FinTech, PropTech, payments, or lending platforms (e.g., Stripe, Toast, Mercury, Vesta, Rocket Mortgage, or similar top tech companies).
• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote within the United States (slight preference for candidates near San Jose, CA or Portland, OR for onboarding).
• Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card Holder (Must reside within the US).
