Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Plano, TX to design, develop, and maintain a multi-module enterprise portal. You will own both frontend and backend development, building scalable enterprise applications using modern web technologies and a microservices architecture.

The role requires 12+ years IT experience with strong Java/Spring Boot, React/Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, RBAC, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT experience.
• 6+ years Java & Spring Boot with REST APIs.
• 3+ years React/Next.js & TypeScript.
• Strong PostgreSQL with schema design.
• Experience with SSO/OIDC/OAuth 2.0 (Okta preferred).
• RBAC experience.
• API Gateway patterns & OWASP security practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (e.g., Jira, SonarQube).
• CI/CD tooling and metrics knowledge.
• AWS services: ECS, RDS, DynamoDB.
• AI-assisted search or chatbot features helpful.
• Background building enterprise portals or dashboards.
