Job summary

Veracode is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale software across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and design, and shape architectural decisions to improve performance and reliability.

The role emphasizes building robust APIs, data-intensive services, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on end-to-end system quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and building APIs, services, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Frontend development experience with modern frameworks such as React.
• Strong understanding of databases, data modeling, and service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and improve systems end to end.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to make pragmatic decisions that balance speed, simplicity, and long-term maintainability.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex features from design through production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop APIs, services, and data-intensive applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Own complex features from design through deployment and production.
• Contribute to technical architecture and pragmatic tradeoffs for long-term maintainability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment, monitoring, and observability.
