Job summary

Malbek, a US-based SaaS company, seeks a passionate Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale our platform. You’ll work across the stack—from responsive front-end interfaces to backend services, APIs, and data stores—collaborating with product, design, and other engineers to ship high-performance features used by customers.

You will own features end-to-end, optimize for scalability, and participate in architectural decisions, CI/CD, and secure coding practices as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in a modern front end framework (Angular) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on backend experience with Spring Framework building production services.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs; API versioning & documentation.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience writing automated tests (unit/integration/e2e).
• Strong understanding of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack from UI to backend services and databases.
• Own features end to end from design and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs with scalability and performance in mind.
• Write efficient queries and design normalized schemas for relational or NoSQL data stores.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs (OAuth2/SSO, webhooks).
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and data flow as the platform scales.
• Improve performance via profiling, load testing, and caching strategies.
• Instrument and monitor services with logging, metrics, tracing; troubleshoot production incidents.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements, infrastructure as code, deployment automation.
• Apply secure coding practices across the stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros).
