Job summary

Scribe is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own a product area end to end, from design through launch. You’ll be matched to one of four teams during the interview process: Agents, Docs, Growth, or Optimize, contributing to a range of products and enterprise-scale workflows.

The role emphasizes building backend services in Python and Go, with a strong frontend in JavaScript, and a product-minded approach to solve user problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software at scale.
• Product-minded and user-focused.
• Comfortable with unclear problems and fast change.
• Strong Python experience or willing to work with Python and Go.
• Strong JavaScript experience with a modern frontend framework.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from design to launch on established products and new features.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to decide what to build and how.
• Contribute to technical discussions balancing short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
• Maintain strong engineering practices: code reviews, test coverage, observability.
• Ship features end to end from database and API to UI.
• Build backend services using Python and Go and the frontend that uses them.
