Job summary

Upbound Group, a multi-brand omni-channel platform company, seeks a Software Engineer IV for its Digital Commerce team. You will own hands-on development across the full SDLC, collaborating with leaders, product managers, and UX/UI teams to deliver scalable commerce platforms.

You will work with offshore partners to ensure synchronization, maintain architectural integrity, and implement secure coding practices while driving high-quality code output and timely milestone delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on B2C applications.
• Solid experience of Tier 1 e-commerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Comprehensive hands-on experience in full-stack development across frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with high-performance, scalable eCommerce architecture.
• Experience with Git for version control and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 5 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize features to meet performance, stability, and security standards.
• Translate requirements into robust technical solutions with cross-team collaboration.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and production bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Own assigned work streams from design through deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and production bugs promptly.
• Implement secure coding practices and perform vulnerability assessments.
