Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer on a contract-to-hire basis to join the enterprise Application Development Team. You will participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, from defining the right solution to delivering and supporting it to scale within an Agile framework.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA, architects, and vendors; lead technical efforts, design RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native apps on Azure,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise applications.
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing modern web apps with NextJs and TypeScript.
• 6+ years designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services with .NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Strong experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience in Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and IaC concepts.
• Experience integrating with external systems and proficiency in SQL Server/Azure SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications with cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to software development methodologies to meet milestones.
• Lead projects and drive them to completion.
• Create system designs and programming specifications.
• Collaborate with DBAs to design database structures.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in Agile environments.
• Ensure production applications are stable and scalable.
• Improve observability and deployment practices across Encore applications.
