SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (Components) to design, build, and deploy software solutions that support the world’s leading flight hardware fabrication and CNC automation.

You will own end-to-end software development, from architecture and testing to deployment, enabling rapid Starship production and fast CAD-to-part cycles. You’ll work with a team delivering web applications for factory operations, AI-driven CNC programming, and machine control, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development; or 7+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
• Experience in full stack development

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across many SpaceX teams
• Own all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and deployment
• Rapidly create new applications that improve the production cycle time in the machine shop and the time to go from CAD to part in hand
• Deep dive into your users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
• Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews
