Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience in OO languages (C#/.NET, Java)
• Hands-on experience delivering cloud-native solutions in AWS
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive apps
• Proficiency with SQL and data handling
• Experience contributing to software design in a team setting
• Commitment to testing, observability, CI/CD, and iterative delivery
• Excellent collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver scalable software across applications and infrastructure.
• Develop backend services and cloud-native apps using OO languages and AWS.
• Own end-to-end delivery including troubleshooting and improvements.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure technical alignment.
• Make informed engineering decisions and iterate based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Apply modern engineering practices like automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Identify and reduce technical debt and improve data flows and design.
• Ensure analytics and risk data are reliable across platforms.
