Job summary

Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineers who are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge open source frameworks and emerging technologies. You’ll be at the forefront of driving a major transformation across Capital One, delivering cloud-based solutions at scale.

You will work with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript across AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL/SQL databases, contributing to architecture, design patterns and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current with tech trends
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that drive user experiences for millions of Americans
