Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support aviation diagnostics and health monitoring for Army platforms. The role focuses on developing mission-critical applications, predictive maintenance, and analytics in a collaborative, agile environment.

You will design, develop, and test full-stack software using C#/.NET, SQL Server, and modern web tech, while working on-site at Redstone Arsenal with a team of engineers and subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with object-oriented design principles and patterns.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with Git and source control management.
• Understanding of software lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting aviation, aerospace, or DoW programs.
• Ability to work on customer site at Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.
• Develop web applications, REST APIs, and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases and data pipelines.
• Implement scalable object-oriented software architectures.
• Integrate with external systems and data sources.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Support software deployments, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Participate in Agile development activities and customer technical reviews.
• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and aviation subject matter experts.
