Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building SaaS or web-based products.
• Experience with Rails/React/TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop full-stack SaaS apps using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and testing.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to evolve AI-driven practices.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and guidance.
• Own production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
