Russell Tobin is assisting a global retail company in Beaverton, OR to hire a Software Engineer for a contract role (12+ months). Work onsite through January, then hybrid with Friday work-from-home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React, and Redux.
• Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and ensure responsive, high-performance web experiences.
• Develop automated tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver new features and enhance digital content experiences.
• Leverage AI tools and agentic workflows to improve development efficiency and modern engineering practices.
