Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to collaborate with customers and partners, define technical constraints, and deliver scalable solutions. The role requires deep expertise in cloud/data technologies, Azure services, and modern SDLC practices.

The candidate should be comfortable leading or participating in client meetings, planning releases, and writing robust code with strong unit tests. Occasional on-site work at client locations is expected in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 10+ years of engineering experience or 14 years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers and partners to understand business needs and scenarios, leading or participating in meetings to gather requirements.
• Supports project planning, identifies risks, dependencies, and documents value of proposed solutions.
• Identifies issues and mitigates risks with stakeholders; writes and maintains integration and unit tests for reliability.
• Drives project and release planning, writes, tests, and maintains high-quality, scalable code across teams.
