Job summary

Akumen, Inc. seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive architecture, design, and quality across the software lifecycle.

You will own front- and back-end initiatives, collaborate across teams, and deliver user-focused software for business processes and reporting capabilities. You should have 6+ years of experience designing enterprise applications with C#/.NET and modern JavaScript frameworks, plus Azure, DevOps, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 6+ years designing, developing, and implementing enterprise software with C#/.NET, Java, or similar OO languages.
• Experience building modern full‑stack web apps with JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.
• Hands-on Azure experience including cloud-native services and integrations.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, and release management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement environments, release procedures, and production support.
• Develop automation workflows, run unit tests, and enforce coding standards for performance.
• Collaborate on software design and implement interfaces, storage contracts, and data transformation.
• Liaise with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Ensure security policies are followed during development.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to implement business functionality.
• Stay current with leading technologies and best practices.
