Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to collaborate with a broad array of software engineers and build software for Ford Reservation Services, elevating the digital experience for vehicle service appointments.

In this role you will develop features based on user feedback, practice clean code, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining work-life balance in a fast-paced, innovative automotive environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
5+ years of understanding, practicing, and advocating for clean code principles such as TDD, self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and XP.
7+ years of experience with front-end languages such as JavaScript/Typescript, and familiarity with Java.

Responsibilities

Develop Ford Reservation Services iteratively in a fast-paced environment.
Create features based on regular user interviews and fast feedback.
Learn and share knowledge openly.
Define, foster, and advance your team’s culture, norms, and practices.
