Job summary

SoundCloud is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Artist Success team. You will take technical ownership of the tools that help artists understand their audiences, grow their careers, and help the music industry discover its next stars.

You will work within a high-performing squad across frontend (React, iOS, Android) and backend (GraphQL, TypeScript) services. The ideal candidate is a generalist who can navigate UI logic, service architecture, and data-intensive systems while

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of frontend development with React.
• Strong GraphQL and TypeScript experience for building APIs and services.
• Experience with Terraform and container orchestration.
• Ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted tooling to improve quality and velocity.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical direction and roadmap across Artist Success products (A&R Dashboard, Fan Insights, artist experiences).
• Serve as a senior technical contributor in a small, expert squad.
• Translate business wants into concrete technical solutions.
• Maintain high technical standards across frontend and backend.
• Own deployment patterns and infrastructure as code, incl. Terraform.
• Support AI-assisted engineering practices while preserving code quality.
