A Quick overview of Archie

Archie is creating the future of credit by building ArchCredit, a universal credit line, and the Archie Score, a credit scoring system for Web3.

We’re starting with the Archie Card, a crypto-collateralized credit card that lets you collateralize crypto, spend fiat, and earn crypto rewards.

We’re backed by big names in the Payments and the DeFi space, who have a history of picking winners!

We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to be part of the early team; you’ll work hand-in-hand with Luka, our first engineer, and bring Archie to life! You will set up, manage, and lead putting together the first version of the platform, including front-end, back-end, and on-chain operations. We’re a lean team; you’ll have ownership of building from Day 1.

Archie bridges Web2 and Web3, and so will our architecture and our work. We use the following tools/paradigms:

Our core devOps tools include AWS + Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub), and HashiCorp products, such as Terraform and Vault.

We use Fireblocks and Chainalysis to create custodial wallets. After the first version of Archie, we will allow users to bring their noncustodial wallets to the service, starting on the Solana and Ethereum blockchains.

We’re first releasing as a web app in the name of speed, with the goal of releasing mobile apps shortly after. Archie heavily utilizes our marketing website will be built using Gatsby connected with Sanity CMS. Our web apps will be built using NX monorepo setup using ReactJs. The backend for our web apps is written in NestJs.

We will be dealing with funds on-chain and investing some funds into DeFi protocols, creating and managing liquidity tokens on Solana, and issuing verifiable credentials. You will help explore and put together the early versions of these services. Ideally, you know a little bit about these paradigms, or more importantly are curious to learn a lot, lot more.

Requirements:
  1. Good knowledge of ReactJs for front end and NestJs for backend
  2. You know how to write unit/integration tests using Jest
  3. You have good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  4. You have basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Github Actions
  5. You are familiar with the Web3 ecosystem and the values of Web3; knowledge of how wallets and liquidity tokens work is highly desirable
  6. A sense of humor and a desire for autonomy
  7. You are not too opinionated and you are open to exploring new technologies
  8. 20 years Web3 experience. You’re so into crypto that you were into it before BTC was conceptualized /s
